Matches – Pack 1 puts 32 real live-action match flames at your fingertips, all filmed with the matchstick held horizontally against a black background. The pack covers the full life of a match: the strike and flare of ignition, a steady burn, the flame fighting a gust of wind, and the final flicker as it dies into a wisp of smoke. The horizontal orientation makes these clips a natural fit for a hand reaching across frame to light a fuse, a cigarette, a lantern, or a candle, as well as for extreme close-ups where the match runs parallel to the lens. Every clip is pre-keyed with an alpha channel, so it drops onto your plate without any keying work, and the practical flame carries all the subtle wobble and glow that CG struggles to reproduce. All 32 elements are delivered as 4K ProRes and 4K EXR files, with the original RAW footage included at native resolutions from 4K to 8K. Pair them with our Candle, Cigarette Smoke, or Sparks footage to complete the moment.

NOTE: the term "horizontal" when used in this pack refers to the orientation of the match stick orientation, not the layout of the video footage.
