Introducing Aerial Fireworks FX Packs
Light Up the Night!
Fireworks are one of those effects that everybody wants and almost nobody can shoot on schedule. The show happens once a year, the weather has to cooperate, and by the time your scene is locked, the Fourth of July is long gone. Today we're fixing that. We're excited to release two brand-new FX packs, Aerial Fireworks – Pack 1 and Aerial Fireworks – Pack 2, packed with real live-action fireworks bursts captured against a black night sky and ready to drop into your project.
Every clip was shot on the RED camera system, is pre-keyed with an alpha channel, and is delivered in 4K ProRes and 4K EXR, with the original 8K RED R3D files included. No simulations, no plugins, just real shells exploding overhead.
Aerial Fireworks – Pack 1
Aerial Fireworks – Pack 1 brings you 25 live-action fireworks bursts, each one capturing a shell detonating overhead, sending glowing stars racing outward before they trail, fade, and fall, with soft puffs of smoke lingering behind. These are your go-to clips for filling an empty sky with a celebration, adding a distant holiday display behind a skyline, or dropping a finale behind your characters without a single permit.
Because the bursts are practical rather than simulated, the timing, drift, and decay of every spark behave exactly the way your audience expects. All 25 clips are pre-keyed with an alpha channel and delivered as 4K ProRes and 4K EXR, plus 8K RED R3D for maximum flexibility in grading and scaling.
Aerial Fireworks – Pack 2
Aerial Fireworks – Pack 2 adds 20 more live-action fireworks explosions filmed high in the night sky, giving you a fresh set of bursts to mix and match with Pack 1 or use on their own. Expect a satisfying variety of shapes and intensities, from tight, dense blooms to wide, sprawling spreads with long sparkling trails and drifting smoke.
Whether you're compositing a backyard Fourth of July shot, a New Year's countdown over a city, or a festival scene for a game cinematic, these elements read as authentic pyrotechnics the moment they hit your timeline. Like Pack 1, every clip includes an alpha channel and ships as 4K ProRes, 4K EXR, and 8K RED R3D.
